Echo Ellis

Peer Mentor

Echo Ellis is dedicated to supporting struggling youth throughout their treatment and recovery journeys. She has had struggles throughout her life with mental health, gender and personal identity, and addiction. She attended a residential treatment facility in her sophomore year of high school which affected her life in many ways. She credits much of the person she is today to the staff who were there everyday to help her by sharing their own experiences and continuously put effort into her recovery even when she found it difficult to accept. She hopes to fulfill a similar role at Antelope, acting as a support to youth by presenting her authentic self and giving them the same tireless effort she received in order to help them along their own journeys of recovery, self discovery, and self expression.
